You have a choice between a day fishing or relaxing on one of our authentic African Pirogeus or taking a trip up the river to have lunch at Lamin Lodge before being returned to Denton Bridge for transport to your hotel or appartment.
Both our Pirogues are ideal for families or couples alike, but the single person will find themselves in good company and will be entertained by our experienced crew.

Because of the big variety of fish, you will never be sure what your next fish will be, but every day we catch between 8 and 13 different species with over 50 species being recorded in these waters.Many of the species caught at sea are found in these creeks albeit smaller specimens, as the creeks are ideal spawning grounds for some of the record breaking fish caught in the river mouth and at sea.
Creekfishing is ideal for everyone, including those inclined to suffer from seasickness and the squamish among us who would prefer not to handle bait or touch fish, as our friendly and happy crew will bait your hook, remove your fish and assist you with everything you require while on board.
You will be entertained by the Captain and crew as they prepare your lunch and serve cold beverages whilst also organising a few competitions for smallest and largest fish, first fish and the one the men hate, the most fish as this is the one the ladies tend to excel at.
The boats are fully equipped and have woven sunshades to protect you from the sun and toilets to give you some privacy if you are suffering the after effects of the night before or even Banjul belly.
There is plenty of space to fish, sunbathe or just enjoy the scenery and wildlife.Our crew will try to assist the birdwatchers amongst you to identify the many beautiful species you may see.

Sportfishing
Are you an expert or just dreaming of catching the big one then the Sportfishing Boats owned and operated by Lady Parrie Fishing are for you.
On these boats you don't need any experience as the help and advice given you by our experienced crew will enable you to hook one of the many species of large game fish that inhabit these waters.
Depending on the weather conditions and tides you will be able to fish several ways:
Trolling: Using rappala you will be trying to hook Barracuda, Jacks, Red Snapper, Ninebone, etc.
Live bait: try your luck hooking Barracuda, Lady Fish, Cassava, Threadfinsalmon ( Captainfish ), Snapper and many other species
Bottom fishing: Using heavy leads and shrimp or fish bait you will certainly catch several of the following species : Ladyfish,Butterfish, Doctorfish, Big lips ( Mick Jagger ), Catfish, Stingray, Sunpat, etc.
With our boats you reach the fishing grounds in the shortest possible time and with a maximum of 3 guests and 2 crew you can be sure your day will be safe and comfortable.
All of Lady Parrie Fishing Vessels are licensed, inspected and fully maintained and insured.

Beachcasting:
You will be collected from your hotel and taken to a secluded beach away from the crowds and hassles.We use shrimp and bonga to lure species such as Catfish, Guitarfish, Stingray, Jacks and Red Snapper.
A picnic lunch is included and cold soft drinks and beer are for sale.We will return you to your hotel around 5 pm where you can have the fish you caught prepared for your evening meal while you relax in the hotel bar.

Fish & Lamin Lodge Excursion:
Spend the morning on board Lady Parrie 2 trying your hand at creekfishing where you will catch some of the exotic species which are prolific in these waters.The vessel is equipped with a toilet and has woven sunshades to protect you from the midday sun.We shall fish until 1 pm and then we up anchor and cruise to Lamin Lodge which is a charming higgledy-piggledy built restaurant bar supported on stilts.
After enjoying a buffet lunch we shall return to historic Denton Bridge where your transport will return you to your hotel.Take some of the fish you catch and ask the hotel chef to prepare them for you.
Cold soft drinks and beer are available on board at competitive prices

We charge
30 pounds sterling for creekfishing
50 pounds sterling for sportfishing
30 pounds sterling for beachcasting
Tarponfishing, is charged per boat, not per person.
That is 200 pounds sterling per boat
with a max. of 2 ppl per boat.
